Mark the Carp

Well huggybear paid me. That was good. I didn't work in September. Well 25 hours on a roof job and the guy stiffed me.

October was good. I got to work on some very nice high end trim for High Point University. I don't get why the president of a school like HPU needs such a huge room for his suite. Two conference rooms; a dramatic entry way (foyer or whatever). It's just a ridiculous space or perhaps waste of space.

Here's the rub.

For what it cost to build this "Presidential Suite" and the "1924 Prime Steakhouse" one could feed many hungry children in High Point, North Carolina.

For what it cost to build this "Presidential Suite" and the "1924 Prime Steakhouse" many people worked, many days. Many people earned a good living working on this extravagant project.

Either way the money was spent. I am glad I caught a little bit of it.
